Manoir de Turqueville Les Quatre Etoiles
In Sainte Mère Eglise (Turqueville) you’ll find our 4* manor: the Manoir de Turqueville Les Quatre Etoiles, owned by Matthieu and Laure Potin. The manor used to be a horse-farm, later in the 30s it was a regular farm with cows and horses. The oldest part of the manor with the magnificent salon dates from the 18th century, around 1875 the main house was built.
Many American and English guests come and visit us because they lost a member of their family or a friend in the war, often in June 1944, D-day and the days thereafter. For them visiting Normandy is a real pilgrimage. We are proud to welcome these special guests.
This elegant 4* manor is situated in a park with beautiful trees, hedges, orchards, flower gardens and a vegetable garden. On the property you will find four different sets of garden furniture with reclining chairs, comfortable cushions and towels.
The gardens have recently been laid out and now you have the romantic atmosphere Matthieu and Laure Potin have been looking for. The chicken run is occupied by 8 chickens and a rooster.
